What could be more fun than a pumpkin shaped bookmark?
This is an 'over the page' bookmark. (My newest bookmark invention). It slides over a page with a nice snug fit, with the top of the design peeking up from the top of your book. You can turn your book upside down, and this bookmark is not going anywhere! No more lost bookmarks - this even stays in place if you flip through the book's pages. The bookmarks are nice and thin so they won't distort the pages or cause any harm to your book.
Besides using in a book, these bookmarks make very unique planner markers. And unlike many other planner markers, they will not add any bulk to your planner.
The line drawing has been filled with a variation of one of my original hand marbled papers. In pumpkiny shades of orange and brown, this is the perfect bookmark for your autumn reading. It makes a great little gift for any book lover and would also be a great Teacher gift.

It starts from my original hand marbled papers. This bookmark started with one of my line art drawings, which I filled with a variation of one of my papers. The bookmark is then printed and cut out.
Designs based on my original hand marbled papers find their way onto all sorts of products - handmade, by me.
I'm a reader, a writer, a sketcher, and more...
I was a professional calligrapher for years, which led me to the ancient Turkish art of marbled paper. Inks or paints are floated on a specially prepared water bath, and are then manipulated into patterns by use of rakes. A sheet of prepared paper is then laid onto the paint/ink, to create a contact print. My colors and my patterns are not quite traditional - my color choices tend to be very bright, and I introduce more movement into the traditional patterns.
Due to chemical sensitivities, I no longer produce new papers, but by use of my computer, I can, and have, made use of my remaining papers in new ways. I hope you enjoy my creations.
